National Awards
The innovation and design behind RingGo cashless parking has led to the service being recognised in several National Awards. These are listed below:
British Parking Awards 2012 - Winner
RingGo's iPhone and Android apps scooped the first ever Digital Parking Award. In making the award to Cobalt, the judges commended the company for their on-going improvements to the apps, and promotional programmes, which resulted in a 225 per cent growth in usage in just 6 months.
B2B Marketing Awards 2011 - Runner up
The UK's national B2B marketing awards recognised Cobalt Telephone Technologies and digital brand and consultancy agency, Birddog, for their campaign, which achieved runners up status in the Social Media category.
British Parking Awards 2011 - Winner
RingGo marketing has been recognised by the British Parking Awards with a second win in three years. Cobalt's submission "Against the odds - from underdog to brand
winner", described the three year communications
programme between 2007 and 2010 by which RingGo moved from occupying second
place in the UK mobile parking market, to clear number one.
British Parking Awards 2010 - Winner
RingGo's world leading Carbon-Metered Parking service, won the British Parking Awards Environment category in March 2010, in a joint submission between Cobalt Telephone Technologies and the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
British Parking Awards 2009 - Highly Commended
In 2009, RingGo's Customer Care team was highly commended by the British Parking Awards within the "Back Office Team of the Year" category.
British Parking Awards 2008 - Winner
The unique, relevant and thoughtful marketing which supported the development and launch of the RingGo service was recognised by the British Parking Awards in 2008. The panel of industry experts commended the marketing for the rigour with which the interests of potential and actual customers had been identified and reflected.
British Parking Awards 2007 - Highly Commended
In March 2007, RingGo was Highly Commended within the Innovation category for its roll out across the First Great Western Railway network. Chairman of the judging panel, Manny Rasores commented "Phone parking implementations of this kind are without doubt going to revolutionise our industry".
