The annual British Parking Awards highlight the areas of individual and corporate excellence within the UK's £3Bn parking services industry. Altogether there are 11 categories of award, several of which, given the nature of the industry, are designed to focus upon the work of teams within the public sector. Private sector companies do however also have their chance to share the limelight, with awards recognising commercial excellence such as the marketing award for which RingGo has been shortlisted.
Judged by a range of senior industry experts, those short listed for this award are required to demonstrate high standards in their arena. In the particular case of this award the judges are looking for finalists to have shown outstanding capabilities in regards to the quality of underlying marketing plan, the overall coherence and integrity of the brand, the inspired use of creative resources and a consistent commitment towards good design. All of these need to have been marshalled and maintained to yield demonstrable and measurable commercial success.
Ann Snelson, Head of Marketing for RingGo said: "I am thrilled that RingGo has been shortlisted for the second year running (RingGo was chosen as a finalist for the Innovation Award in 2007). The Awards provide a very valuable platform for us and indeed our colleagues in the industry to showcase the best that is on offer. This year's shortlist demonstrates just this breadth, and I am proud to be amongst, and of course congratulate, all the other individuals, teams and businesses who have also made it through to the finals."
The awards lunch takes place at a gala gathering of the parking industry at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Friday March 9th.
