Jeremy Clarkson's clearly frustrating experience shown on this week's Top Gear took place after parking in a Borough of London that has deployed something other than the RingGo service. As passionate supporters of the concept of phone parking, we are sincerely disappointed that he should have had such an unfortunate first impression.

Everyone in the RingGo team is convinced that, done well, phone parking offers a compelling alternative to the traditional use of coin. Cobalt Telephone Technologies, the British company behind RingGo, has made very significant investments in both technology and customer service processes that underpin the service. These have made RingGo uniquely secure, easy to use and cheap to call. We continue to be genuinely heartened by the many emails and phone calls of thanks and appreciation that we receive from our RingGo users and pledge ourselves to continuing to improve and enhance the service to make it as supportive of daily life as possible.
Given his initial experience we sincerely hope Jeremy Clarkson has the opportunity to encounter a RingGo car park before too long.
