Town and City capitalise on RingGo

 26th Apr 2008

Fresh from RingGo's recent British Parking Award win, this latest partnership further cements RingGo's credentials as the UK's leading pay-by-phone parking brand. Town and City has been in the national spotlight with its high profile collaboration with ASDA over priority parking spaces.

Harry Clarke, commercial director of Cobalt Telephone Technologies - RingGo's parent company, says: "Town and City has a nationwide presence, and a reputation for providing industry-leading solutions. This partnership is great news for both of us."

Bernie Dickson, Managing Director for Town and City Parking agrees, "We know motorists want flexibility and choice when paying for their parking, so pay by phone services - which offer an alternative to cash and a way to top up remotely - need to be part of our mix.  Our focus on providing the highest standards of service means we choose only the best solutions for our customers. We've chosen RingGo as our supplier, because it's currently the best on the market. The service is well thought-through and they've given great attention to security and support."

The initial four Town and City sites launching with RingGo are:

  • Perth - Kinnoull Street Multi Storey car park
  • Aberdeen - College Street Multi Storey car park
  • Kingston upon Thames - Ashdown Road
  • London - Central Middlesex Hospital

Motorists will be able to use the scheme from late May. "The quicker it's set up; the quicker our customers will benefit," says Dickson. "Having committed to RingGo, we want the motorists we serve to be enjoying the benefits of the service as soon as possible."
