The London Borough of Sutton today (4 Oct) becomes the tenth London borough to offer RingGo cashless parking as an alternative method of payment to coins.  Sutton joins Brent, Bromley, Ealing, Hounslow, Lewisham, Redbridge, Richmond, Southwark and Wandsworth, in supplying the service.
Cobalt Telephone Technologies, parent company of cashless parking service, RingGo, today (15 Sep) announces the launch of RingGo dispensations, its latest service designed to remove unnecessary paperwork and procedures from local authority parking departments.  The solution offers a quick and easy way to manage vehicles needing to park on a waiting restriction or in permitted parking bays - such as builders, traders, removal firms, film crews, special events and weddings.
From today (14 Sep), motorists visiting eight National Trust countryside locations in the Surrey Hills can use RingGo to pay for their parking.  The service is being used by the Trust as an alternative option to coins in five existing pay and display car parks in Surrey; and as the exclusive method of payment in three others.
From today (5 Sep) rail travellers parking at East Coast railway stations can use RingGo to pay for their parking by phone, making it the twelfth train operating company to provide the service.  RingGo now accounts for 90 per cent of all phone parking across the rail network.
Motorists parking in Lyme Regis Town Council car parks no longer need coins to pay for their parking - they can now use their mobile phone and a debit or credit card instead.  Pay by phone parking service, RingGo, is being introduced to the Woodmead and Cabanya car parks from today (25 August), offering residents and visitors an alternative to paying for their parking by cash.
Cobalt Telephone Technologies today (18 Aug) launches its new, upgraded RingGo iPhone App.  Available to download free of charge, through either an iPhone or the iTunes Apple Store, this latest version gives users more control over their account details and speeds up payment.
From today (3 August) on street car parking around the City of Edinburgh will feature RingGo pay-by-phone as an option, allowing motorists to use credit and debit cards as an alternative to coins.  RingGo replaces the current mPark phone service across the capital.
Southwark Council today (21 July) announces positive payback from its Borough-wide implementation of RingGo phone parking.  Full roll out of the service occurred just 7 months ago, but despite that, the service is generating incremental income and providing tangible savings to the Council, cutting departmental expenditure in some areas by a third or more.
Southwark Council, together with Cobalt Telephone Technologies, have been shortlisted for a national Innovation Award for their introduction of RingGo - the UK's leading phone parking service - across the London Borough of Southwark.
Following last months' roll-out across the whole of Cornwall, Plymouth City Council today (1 July) becomes the latest south west local authority to implement RingGo phone parking.  As with Cornwall, Plymouth is keen to capitalise on cashless parking for the local tourist trade, but in this case, a specially developed version of RingGo makes it particularly attractive to Plymouth's prime market - consisting of weekend and "short stay" visitors.
